Yayaa's Reflections requires a non-refundable retainer to book your session. The retainer is $75 for basic sessions and 25% of packaged sessions, such as Boudoir, Themed, & Senior Sessions. This retainer will go towards the price of the session, I use this to book hair and makeup professionals and to purchase items for your session to assist in making sure you have a unique session. By paying the retainer you are agreeing to the terms of the shoot and all policies; therefore you also agree to the day and time of shoot and time for makeup/hair.
In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents the photographer from shooting on a scheduled date, the client will receive a full refund of their retainer if a reschedule date can not be agreed upon. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your schedule session will result in loss of the retainer fee unless all involved can agree and schedule a reschedule date and then the retainer fee will be transferred to the new date. If you cancel with less than 24 hours of the shoot (non emergency), you will be responsible for 1/2 the cost to all parties involve (photographer, hair stylist, and makeup artist plus any stylists or additional models) and a $75 studio setup fee (if in studio). You will receive a bill and payment must be rendered within 14 days.
If you arrive at the shoot and decide against shooting for whatever reason (except for an emergency) or you cancel (non emergency) a shoot scheduled on a Sunday or holiday, you will be billed for the full cost to all parties involved. You will have 14 days to render payment.

If the client fails to attend the photo session on the scheduled date and time, no refund will be given. There will be NO REFUNDS of your retainer if you cancel your session.
Proofs & Prints: Due to the nature of digital photography and the time and effort I put into each and every session before, during, and after the session, we have a limited refund policy. Once a transaction for prints, session, packages, etc has been completed, it is considered non-refundable. Refunds will not be given due to "not liking a photo" or "not satisfied with proof options". If a client is unhappy with a photo, choice of proofs, etc then additional session time (courtesy reshoot) of 1/2 hour may be offered to the client. Once the courtesy session time has taken place there will be no refunds offered. There are NO refunds for any sale offered.
Delivery of Services/Product Policy:
My turnaround time for your proofing gallery of images is usually 2-4 weeks after the shoot; however, during our busy season I will be much busier and turn around time may be up to 6 weeks. I try to provide each session with a 3-7 images sneak peak uploaded to a gallery on my website. I try my best to have images done as quickly as possible, but please keep in mind I do have fibromyalgia and am a mom to two young children.
I edit sessions and prepare orders in the order that I shoot which is according to the calendar date; therefore, if we shoot a courtesy session/additional session time then your new proofs will be subject to the turnaround time based on the date of the additional session. Once the client has chosen proofs (via in person or online) and paid for their print or digital package, I will provide the purchased print or digital package in approximately 1-2 weeks. All dates are approximate and could be delivered before or after the time frame.
Holidays & Sunday Policy:
If you book a holiday or Sunday, I will more than likely not be able to get a sitter; therefore, my children will be at the studio/on-location. If this will be a problem for you PLEASE let me know at least 3 days in advance so I can exhaust all avenues to find a sitter. This does not apply to newborn sessions as I will always make sure to secure a sitter for my children or I will not book the session for that day. If you cancel a shoot scheduled on a Sunday or holiday, you will be billed for the full cost to all parties involved. You will have 14 days to render payment.
I accept cash, credit card, paypal, and in some cases checks. Once you make your payment i.e. pay your invoice (with any form of payment) pay cash, sign your check, sign your credit card receipt, etc you are entering into an agreement with Yayaa's Reflections and you are agreeing to all policies.
Please understand I spend time passionately prepping, communicating, scouting, packing, checking, driving, shooting, culling, editing, etc. for each and every session.
It is the responsibility of the clients to read and familiarize themselves with Yayaa's Reflections policies.
